Yuendumu School Doors Part One

The painting of the Yuendumu School doors by local elders in 1984 is considered a mile stone in the rise of the desert art movement. Since the famous originals are now on display in the South Australian Museum and no longer available to be covered with graffiti, the Yuendumu school hired me to paint local animals on the class room doors. Eagle and Perentie were the first two designs. More to come next year.
